Swallows Return is a beautiful 2 storey, 4 bedroom cottage situated in the picturesque village of Swimbridge (EX32 OQS)

It is a family owned property who have dedicated themselves to making the place as warm and welcoming as possible, and we would love for you to enjoy it as much as we do!

It's a perfect getaway location if you want some peace and quiet, or spend quality family time together! The rolling hills and endless fields are also ideal for the four legged members of your family!
If you choose to, a countryside walk could well be rounded off with a visit to the local village pub on your way back to the cottage. A short 10 minute drive brings you to the market town amenities of Barnstaple, Exmoor and the sandy beaches of Croyde, Saunton and Woolacombe are all around a scenic 20-25 minutes drive.

There is also a local bus service to Barnstaple, with the nearest stop around 100 yards from the cottage.

From the front garden, the hallway leads into the open plan living area with its wooden floor, ornamental fireplace, comfortable sofa and chairs.

The well equipped kitchen and a dining table are also in this large room and you can enjoy the views out over the open countryside when preparing your meals.

A small corridor leads off to the front double bedroom, a rear single bedroom with views and the bathroom.

From the living room, internal stairs lead to the lower ground floor (with low ceilings and door frames) where the accommodation comprises of a further double bedroom, single bedroom and shower room.

A number of steps at the side of the cottage take you down past the rockery to the top of the steep lawned area and there is also a raised decked area where you can relax whilst admiring the valley views.
